Intuitive Dreamwork II: Symbology and Interpretation
Description
According to Dr. Carl Jung, “The dream is an invaluable commentator and illuminator of life. Listen to the wisdom of the dream.” This wisdom emanates from the intuitive mind that is vigilantly at work while a person dreams. Thomas Edison used to keep a pencil and paper on his bed stand and would write down the ideas that came to him while he was sleeping. Like any scientist, author or creative person, the student can learn how to retrieve intuitive wisdom from their dreams and then use intuitive dreamwork to understand the symbolic messages embedded in the dream.
The intuitive voice, which may not reach a person’s attention through the noise of the day, calls out each night in the symbolic imagery of a dream providing a warning, direction or guidance. The intuitive mind has two functions in dreamwork. First to inform the dreamer so one can learn the truth, see the big picture and even discover what obstacles preclude achieving his or her heart’s desire. Second, intuition can be used to interpret by unraveling the puzzling dream images. Through the practices and examples in this course, the student will learn how to use intuition to retrieve, respect, and understand the insights embedded in dreams. Unraveling his or her dream messages and those of clients, friends, family and associates, can facilitate greater emotional health and psychological healing.
